Luxury Gold Coast Garden Makeover

This Luxury Gold Coast Garden Makeover was designed for a busy Melbourne based businessman setting up residence and business on the Isle of Capri.

The landscaping theme offers a formal touch surrounded by lots of gorgeous, colourful lush tropical plants.

THE BRIEF for this landscape renovation was to create a formal theme that could blend in with old established trees, palms and shrubs on neighbouring properties that were more in keeping with a tropical theme.

Firstly a Landscape Design plan was created for this project using Bluestone as the primary paver for all the new paths surrounded by dark greyy pebbles of varying sizes to be installed throughout the property. A new Merbau Deck and glass pool fencing replaced a small patch of uneven grass and old cubby house and created a large, open useable space within the pool area looking out on to the expansive waterfront views.

The new Gardens included a mix of colourful, flowering tropical plants including Heliconia’s, Gingers, Cordylines, Costus, Tropical Rhododendron and Bromeliads. A small section of Grass was replaced with Dichondra repens in the courtyard entry and the formality was created by Euonymus ‘Green Rocket’ hedging plants that lined many of the pathways and gardens.

Our client Luke was fabulous to work for and whilst stranded in Melbourne for much of the construction process we were able to send video updates of our progress and he was still able to be involved in the decision making process. This was a fabulous job for the entire team to be ivolved in and we look forward to watching this garden come to life over the coming years.
